Lunch containers for teens
With all of this planning for school lunches, we cannot forget the lunch containers, right? From Target to Amazon, there are lots of lunch containers to choose from. Here are a few top rated lunch containers to consider:
Rubbermaid Lunch Blox
I am a huge fan of the Rubbermaid Lunch Blox kit! What makes this lunch container set so ingenious is the freezer pack that snaps directly to the food containers. So they keep cool and they’re not sliding around all over the place. And, they are BPA free, microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe.
Sistema To-Go Bento Box
I love the concept of this Sistema bento box. It features 3 compartments, but it also has 2 removable trays so you can stack separately some veggies on the bottom level and some fruit on top. The other tray gives you the ability to have crackers on the bottom and a turkey wrap on top. And the 5 oz container can be used for either yogurt, apple sauce, dipping sauce, etc.
Pixi Creations Bento Box 2-Pack
This Pixi Creations Bento box is another lunch container that’s very versatile. It’s nice to have a 2-pack so it’s easier to have a clean one ready to go when you need to create your lunch. Also, it has six compartments so you can include something from every category from my lunch box printable! Most importantly, it’s BPA-free and dishwasher safe.
Next steps…
Now that you have my free school lunch box ideas printable, it’s time to start packing the lunch! Although I try to pack lunches the night before, it always seems to be the morning when I do it. But now that my teen is in 9th grade, I am going to have her pack her lunch! We’ll see how long that lasts. 🙂
