Don’t think you have enough hours in the day to do everything on your to-list? These apps for moms are changing the way people shop and manage time.
Whether you’re looking for great deals or just want to manage your time more efficiently, there’s an app for that.
The following apps are some of my favorites for saving time and money.
This cool app lets you easily organize and manage your grocery lists, coupons, and recipes either online or on your smartphone. If you manage your lists online, it easily syncs to your phone.
An especially handy feature of this shopping app is its ability to scan the barcode of the items that you buy. You can also create other shopping categories to handle all of your errands during the day.
As you check off the items on your list, Grocery Gadget even remembers the order in which you check items off for your next shopping trip.
Grocery Gadget comes in a full and free version (Grocery Gadget Lite). It is compatible with the IPhone, IPad, ITouch, various Android phones, Blackberry, Nokia, and Windows Phone. Read MacWorld’s Grocery Gadget review for more information.
Comparison shoppers rejoice with this brilliant shopping app. Getting the best deal is easy! Simply imput the bar code of the item you’re considering buying and almost like magic, this app will compare prices with online stores as well as your local retail stores (including those stores closest to you).
No need to clip coupons with this handy little app. It takes your location and creates a list of nearby stores that have coupons or special offers.
Once you find a coupon you want to use, the cashier can either scan the coupon or type in the code from your phone.
Also, even if you can get the app, be sure to check out their website for a lots of coupons from major retailers such as Amazon, Kohls, Gap, and many more.

Another grocery list app that helps you create lists by either typing in the items or scanning the item’s barcode.
A really cool time saving feature is the ability to organize your lists by aisles. You can even have lists for different stores.
But the most amazing feature of this app is that it’s linked with Coupons.com and can show you coupons available for items on your list.
If you’re looking for an app that is designed by moms for moms, then look no further that Intuition. Referred to as “mom’s personal assistant”, this multi-tasking app allows you to enter your to-do list, grocery lists, appointments, errands, and more.
Its bright and cheery interface is just what you need to get your to-do list tackled. Some cool features include creating grocery lists, finding local grocery coupons, scheduling appointments, and alerts for when you’re near stores that are on your errand list.

Simply activate the Shopkick app before entering the store, and voila, you get a credit or what Shopkick calls a kick™. And you can redeem your kicks™ for rewards to such retailers as Best Buy, Old Navy, Target, Macy’s or for ITunes gift cards or restaurant vouchers.
This mobile coupon app helps you find coupons and deals from retailers in your area.
Once you find a deal, you simply go to the cashier and they can scan the coupon right from your phone.
Other features include the ability to create notifications to alert you to special deals at your favorite stores as well as tracking the total money saved using Yowza.
No more of those little reward cards on your key ring! This shopping app allows you to store all of your loyalty reward cards and store club memberships in one place. So when you go to the store, you always have your rewards card with you.
And if you’re not a member of a store rewards program, no problem. You can sign up from within the app.
Let this shopping app help you find the perfect electronics gift for anyone on your gift list.
Giftmeister allows you to find gifts based on age, gender, price range and lifestyle. It will browse over 150,000 consumer electronics in its database from both online and local retail stores.
You can even create a wish list for yourself for others when they’re trying to find presents for you.
Saving time and money is what these apps are about. The good news is that many of these apps are free so you can pick and choose to see which ones work best for you.
